Gaia Animal Sanctuary is currently operating at full capacity due to the overwhelming number of rescued birds in need of our care and attention. There are several factors that have contributed to this situation:

In recent years, we have witnessed a surge in the number of abandoned and neglected birds in our region. This has necessitated the expansion of our facilities to accommodate the growing need for rescue and rehabilitation.

Birds, especially those that have suffered abuse, neglect, or trauma, often require specialized care and a tailored environment to thrive. Providing this level of care and attention necessitates full capacity to ensure the well-being of our avian residents.

Many rescued birds require long-term care to recover from physical and emotional trauma. Our full capacity allows us to make a lasting commitment to these birds, ensuring that they can live their lives in peace and comfort.
